Combine flour, salt and soda; mix well. Set aside.
In large bowl, blend sugars at medium speed.
Add butter and mix to form a paste.
Add eggs and extract. Mix at medium speed until blended.
Do not overmix.
Add flour mix and chips.
Blend at low speed until just mixed.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet, 2-inches apart.
Bake 22 minutes or until golden brown.
Transfer to cool surface with spatula immediately.
Yields 3 1/2 dozen.
