Blondies
Blondies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 tbsp. butter (margarine), 1 c. packed light brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt butter or margarine in a saucepan.
Or may melt in microwave.
Stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir into butter mixture.
Spread batter evenly in a 9-inch square pan (for thinner cookies use a 9 1/2 x 13-inch pan).
Butter pan well first. Sprinkle chips over top.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool completely before cutting.
