Blonde Brownies
Blonde Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 2/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2/3 c. butter or oleo and 2 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Heat oven to 350Β°. Grease 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch pan.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
In large saucepan, melt butter.
Stir in brown sugar.
Cool 10 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat after each addition.
Stir in flour mixture, nuts and chocolate pieces until well blended.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until center springs back when lightly touched.
Cool and cut into 2-inch squares.
