Blitz Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 5 egg yolks, beaten, 1 c. flour, 1/4 c. milk and 5 egg whites, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream 1/2 cup of sugar and butter.
Add egg yolks, salt, flour, baking powder, milk and vanilla.
Pour into 2 large, ungreased, 10-inch layer cake pans.
