Blend Of The Bayou Seafood Casserole is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, 1 stick margarine or butter, 1 lb. shrimp, peeled, 1 large onion, chopped and 1 bell pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Melt cream cheese and butter using double boiler.
Saute shrimp, onion, pepper and celery in 2 tablespoons butter.
Add to the first mixture.
Add soup, mushrooms, seasonings, crab meat and rice.
Mix well.
Place in 2-quart casserole and top with cheese and cracker crumbs.
Bake at 350Β° about 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly.
Freezes well.
