Blackberry Jam Cake
Blackberry Jam Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, beaten, 1 (12 oz.) jar blackberry jam and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
Combine eggs and jam; mix well.
Add to creamed mixture; beat well.
Combine buttermilk and soda; set aside.
Combine dry ingredients; mix alternately with creamed mixture and buttermilk mixture.
Mix well. Stir in raisins and pecans.
Pour into 3 greased and floured 8-inch cake pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 or 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
