Blackberry Cobbler

Grease bottom and sides of oblong baking dish.
Mix blackberries with 1 1/2 cups sugar.
Work shortening into dry ingredients.
Work 3/4 cup cold water into mixture.
Divide dough in half and roll out.
Lay bottom dough in greased pan; prick dough.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup flour over crust.
Pour in berries; dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
Sprinkle another 1/4 cup flour over berries.
Lay top dough over this; pierce it.
Sprinkle 2 teaspoons sugar on top.
Bake at 400Β° for about 45 minutes.
