Black Bottom Cupcakes
Black Bottom Cupcakes is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 52 minutes. Made with (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, c. sugar, egg, c. semi-sweet chocolate chips and c. self-rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Heat oven to 350°.
Line 18 muffin cups with paper baking cups. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, egg and 1/2 cup sugar.
Mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips and set aside.
In large bowl mix flour, 1 cup sugar and cocoa.
Add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Fill paper cups 1/2 full.
Top each with 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture and pecans.
Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until cream cheese is light golden brown.
Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
Store in refrigerator.
