Black-Bottom Banana Bars
Black-Bottom Banana Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, softened, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 1/2 c. mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla.
Blend in the bananas.
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Divide batter in half.
Add cocoa to half; spread into greased 9 x 13 pan.
Spoon remaining batter on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen.
