Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake
Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pt. strawberries, sliced, 2/3 c. sugar, 2 1/3 c. bisquick original baking mix, 3 tbsp. sugar and 3 tbsp. margarine or butter, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Sprinkle strawberries with 2/3 cup sugar; let stand 1 hour. Heat oven to 425Β°.
Mix baking mix, 3 tablespoons sugar, margarine and milk until soft dough forms.
Drop dough into 6 mounds onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 11 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Beat whipping cream in chilled bowl until stiff.
Split shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries.
Top with whipped cream.
Makes 6 servings.
