Bishop's Cake
Bishop'S Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, well beaten, 1 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. sifted flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine eggs and sugar; beat well.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add nuts, dates and cherries.
Fold into egg mixture being sure it is mixed well so there are no dry spots.
Pour into a loaf pan that has been greased and lined with waxed paper.
Bake about 1 1/2 hours in 325Β° oven.
Cool on rack before turning out. Keep tightly wrapped as it dries out rather quickly.
A dip of vanilla ice cream enhances the taste.
