Bishop's Bread
Bishop'S Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 1 c. sugar, 1 (8 oz.) bottle cherries, 1 1/2 c. flour and 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Beat eggs until frothy.
Gradually add sugar.
Drain cherries and save juice.
Cut cherries and add to mixture.
Sift flour together with baking powder and salt.
Add all dry ingredients with nuts, alternating with the cherry juice so that some of juice is added last.
Bake 1 hour in greased loaf pan at 350Β°.
Test the loaf after 1 hour, as it may take about 10 minutes more.
