Biscuits
Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. shortening, 2 c. plain flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt and 2/3 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Heat oven to 450Β°.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut shortening into mixture until it is fine crumbs.
Stir in just enough milk so dough leaves side of bowl; round up into ball.
Turn dough onto lightly floured surface.
Knead lightly 10 times.
Roll or pat dough 1/2-inch thick.
Cut with floured 2-inch biscuit cutter.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 1-inch apart for crusty sides.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes about 16 biscuits.
