Biscochitoes
Biscochitoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. crisco, 2 c. sugar, 6 eggs, 1 tbsp. anise seed and 4 tbsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cream Crisco and sugar.
Beat the eggs and add to Crisco and sugar.
Add anise seed, baking powder and water, stirring well. Add flour slowly, mixing real good.
Roll out on floured surface and cut with cookie cutters, about 1/4-inch thick.
You can sprinkle with candy crystals (optional).
Bake at 350Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Let cool for 20 to 30 minutes.
