Bill Shields' Sauerkraut Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (15 to 15 1/2 oz.) cans or pkg. sauerkraut, drained, 1 c. chopped green pepper, 1 c. chopped green onions (white and green parts), 1 small can sliced water chestnuts and 1 small jar pimentos, chopped or sweet red pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix first 5 ingredients in a suitable container for storage. Bring to boil the remaining ingredients.
