Betty'S Meat Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. leanest ground beef, 1/2 lb. bulk sausage, 4 oz. (1 pkg.) saltine crackers, crushed finely with rolling pin, 1 egg and 1 small (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350°.
Thoroughly combine beef, sausage and crushed crackers.
Beat egg.
Add to tomato sauce, then add parsley, garlic, salt and pepper.
Pour into meat mixture and mix together well.
Put in loaf pan and bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before cutting.
