Better Than Sex Cake

Using an electric knife, slice angel food cake into 3 equal layers.

Mix instant pie filling according to package directions. Fold together Cool Whip, drained pineapple and instant pie filling.

Place bottom layer on serving plate.

Spread evenly with Cool Whip mixture, then place 4 to 6 cherries evenly around the bottom layer.

Add middle layer and the top layer, repeating process.

After all 3 layers are assembled, drizzle remaining Cool Whip mixture so that it runs down the sides and middle.

Drizzle remaining cherries on top of top layer of Cool Whip mixture.
