Better Banana Pudding
Better Banana Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. boiling water, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 rounded tbsp. butter, 2 heaping tbsp. plain flour and 1/3 c. white sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In large skillet or pan, boil first 3 ingredients until syrupy.
Mix rest of ingredients; pour into syrup and cook until thickened.
Cool, then add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
In a large ovenproof dish, put a layer of graham crackers then a layer of pudding over crackers.
Then put a layer of sliced bananas. Repeat layers until all is used.
Cover with meringue made from the 2 egg whites and 2 tablespoons sugar.
Brown at 350Β° for 10 to 15 minutes.
