Best-Ever Chili
Best-Ever Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, 1 c. chopped onions, 1 c. chopped green pepper, 1 c. diced celery and 2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans red kidney beans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In a Dutch oven, cook beef, onions, green pepper and celery until meat is browned and vegetables are tender.
Stir to break up chunks of meat.
Drain kidney beans, reserving liquid.
Add beans and remaining ingredients.
Cover; simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
If desired, stir in some of the reserved bean liquid to make desired consistency.
Makes 10 servings.
