Best Ever Caramels is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. light brown sugar, 1 c. light corn syrup, 1 c. heavy cream and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix together in heavy pan all ingredients except vanilla and nuts. Cook slowly over medium heat, stirring.
Cook to 250Β° or firm ball. Remove from heat. Add the vanilla and nuts.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Cool. When firm, turn out on cutting board and cut into bite size pieces.
Wrap in wax paper squares.
