Ben's Crispy Oat Cookies
Ben'S Crispy Oat Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, softened, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1 c. vegetable oil and 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Butter; gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer.
Add egg and beat well.; add oil and vanilla, mixing well.
Combine flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
Stir in oats and rest of ingredients.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets and flatten balls with tines of fork. Bake
325Β° for minutes. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheets, and cool.
Yield
10 dozen.
