Made with 1 lb. spicy bulk sausage, 1 medium onion, diced, 1 (48 oz.) jar randall great northern beans, 1 (15 to 15 1/2 oz.) can pinto beans, drained and 1 (15 to 15 1/2 oz.) can black beans, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown sausage, breaking up, and saute onion in the same pan. Drain and crumble into large bowl. Add all the beans, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, mustard and beer.

Pour into bean pot or casserole dish and bake, uncovered, at 300Β° for 4 to 5 hours, checking for moisture content by 3 1/2 hours.

(You can always stir in more beer if beans are too dry.)
