Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. round steak, cut into bite size strips, 1/4 c. flour, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 6 tbsp. butter and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Dredge steak in flour; brown with onion in butter.
Add seasonings and water; cover and simmer gently until almost tender, 40 minutes to 1 hour.
Stir occasionally.
Add soup and mushrooms; stir to mix.
Cook gently until beef is tender, about 30 minutes. At serving time, heat mixture piping hot.
Turn off and stir in sour cream.
Serve over fluffy rice.
