Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 58 minutes. Made with . beef tenderloin or sirloin steak, c. butter or margarine, (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained, (10 oz.) cans condensed beef broth (bouillon) and c. instant minced onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cut meat across the grain into 3/4-inch slices.
Melt 1/4 cup butter in large skillet.
Cook and stir mushrooms in butter about 5 minutes; remove mushrooms.
In same skillet, brown meat. Reserving 2/3 cup broth, stir in remaining broth, the onion, catsup and garlic salt.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Blend reserved broth and flour; stir into meat.
Add mushrooms; heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Stir in sour cream; heat through.
Cook noodles as directed; drain.
Toss with three tablespoons butter.
Serve with stroganoff.
