Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. trimmed beef tenderloin, sliced 1/4-inch thick, 6 oz. mushrooms, sliced (about 2 c.), 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 can condensed beef broth and 1 c. dairy sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Brown meat strips in 1/4 cup butter.
Push meat to one side; add mushrooms and onion.
Cook just until tender.
Add broth. Heat to boiling.
Blend sour cream and flour; stir into broth. Cook and stir until mixture thickens (sauce will be thin).
Season to taste.
Serve over rice or buttered noodles.
