Beef Stew Deluxe
Beef Stew Deluxe is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. beef stew meat (cut into cubes), 1 c. port wine, 1 tsp. salt, 1 can onion soup, undiluted and 1 can mushroom soup, undiluted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO BROWN MEAT. Mix all ingredients in a covered casserole dish and bake at 300° for 3 hours. Serve over fluffy rice, noodles or whipped potatoes. Thicken gravy if necessary. Raise temperature of over to 400°.
Remove cover from pan and add 1 can of refrigerated canned biscuits to top of stew. Bake until biscuits are browned. Bake extra biscuits to serve stew over biscuit.
