Beef Stew
Beef Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. vegetable oil, 1 1/2 c. chopped onion, 2 cloves garlic, crushed, 3 lb. boneless stew beef and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In a 5 quart heat oil.
Saute onions and garlic.
Add beef; brown on all sides.
Stir in salt, pepper, chili powder and reserved tomato juice. Bring a boil. Reduce to low heat; cover and cook 1 hour.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover and minutes or until cabbage is done.
Makes 8 servings.
