Beef Stew
Beef Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. beef, cut into 1 inch cubes, 1/4 to 1/2 c. flour, 4 tbsp. oil, 2 c. water and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Roll beef cubes in flour and slowly brown in oil in heavy pan. Brown and keep scratching all the "crunchy" from bottom of pan. Add water.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer until tender.
Add onion, potatoes and carrot.
More water may be added if needed. Thicken gravy with cornstarch and water if desired.
