Beef Roll-Ups
Beef Roll-Ups is an moderately easy dinner. Made with round steak, cut thin (have meat cut when extremely cold; 3 lb. feeds 7 people), 1 1/2 onions, diced, good bacon (1 lb.), diced, salt and pepper and green and red pepper, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. One layer of onion, one layer of bacon and one layer of peppers in each piece of meat.
Roll up and tie with thread. Brown on both sides in 2 kettles.
Make four packages of brown gravy and two packages of mushroom gravy.
Add to meat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
