Beef Pilaf
Beef Pilaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. beef stew meat, 1 large onion, cut up, 2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. pepper and 2 tsp. garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cut beef in small pieces.
Put in 5-quart kettle with onion, celery and seasonings.
Cover with water; bring to a boil and stir to mix well.
Reduce heat to a simmer.
Cook until meat is tender, then add tomato paste and stir; bring to a boil.
Add about 6 cups water; let come to a boil.
Add rice and cook until rice is done, about 1/2 hour.
