Beef Manicotti
Beef Manicotti is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes with liquid, 1 tbsp. cooking oil, 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. chopped onion and 1 (t oz.) can tomato paste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Brown beef and onion.
Add all other ingredients except shells and cheese.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Cook shells as directed package.
Shells meat mixture. Place in
11-inch baking
Sprinkle with cheese; cover and thoroughly. with foil while heating. Add about 1/4 cup of water before covering with foil to make steam while heating to prevent shells from sticking to bottom and sides and to prevent drying out while heating.
Makes 5 to 7 servings.
