Beef Log
Beef Log is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. ground chuck or 1 1/2 lb. beef, lamb or elk, 1 c. water, 1 tsp. liquid smoke, 1 tbsp. brown sugar, packed and 1/2 tsp. garlic salt or powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix spices with water.
Add to beef.
Refrigerate overnight. Form rolls in wax paper and lift into the broiler pan that is sprayed with Pam.
Bake at 300Β° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Turn over about halfway through cooking if desired (in lower it will be done in one hour).
Cool and wrap in foil.
Keep in refrigerator.
