Beef-Cheddar Macaroni Casserole
Beef-Cheddar Macaroni Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 large onion, chopped, 2 tbsp. margarine, 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar prepared spaghetti sauce and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
In large skillet, brown beef; drain fat and set aside.
In same skillet, saute onion in margarine until translucent.
In large bowl, combine beef, onion, spaghetti sauce, macaroni, 1 cup of the cheese, mushrooms and seasonings.
Spoon into an 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish.
Bake, covered, for 20 minutes, or until bubbly.
Remove cover; evenly sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese.
Bake 5 minutes longer, or until cheese melts.
