Beef and Cabbage Scallops
Beef And Cabbage Scallops is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. hamburger, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and pinch of oregano, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Brown beef in large skillet.
When meat begins to change color, add celery and onion.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in flour, tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings.
Bring to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Alternate layers of meat mixture, cabbage and potatoes in a 3-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs and butter. Cover with foil; bake for 1 hour, or until vegetables are tender.
