Bear Roast
Bear Roast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 to 4 lb. bear roast, 1 onion, diced, 2 bay leaves, salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat roaster oven to 325Β°.
Place roast on a rack and salt and pepper.
Place 2 bay leaves on top of roast and then the onion. Add water.
Make a foil tent over roast and put cover on.
Bake 3 to 4 hours, until tender.
Check periodically to make sure it's not dry.
Add water if necessary.
