Beans is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. pinto beans, 1 lb. chopped green pepper, 1 1/2 tbsp. salad oil, 1 1/2 lb. chopped onions and 2 cloves crushed garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cook beans as follows
Add 6 to 8 cups hot water.
Bring to a boil 2 minutes.
Set aside to soak 1 hour.
Drain beans. Sort beans for any undesirable ones and discard them.
Put all good beans in pot with 6 cups hot water.
Boil gently with lid ajar until tender.
