Bean Soup
Bean Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ham, 2 c. diced celery, 1/2 c. chopped onions, 1 lb. dried soup beans and 2 tsp. chopped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Soak beans in water overnight.
Cover ham with water and boil until tender.
Skim fat from broth.
Add beans, drained, then celery, onions, parsley and pepper.
Simmer all together until ham is well cooked, the beans soft and the whole well blended.
