Bean Salad
Bean Salad is an impressive salad you can prepare in about 2 hours 16 minutes. Made with cut green beans, cut yellow beans, red kidney beans, green or butter beans and green pepper, sliced thin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Drain beans and toss together with green pepper and onion. Mix together sugar, oil, vinegar, celery seed, mustard seed and salt.
Boil for 5 minutes and pour hot dressing over bean mixture.
Mix well.
Refrigerate several hours before serving. May reduce sugar if desired.
Keeps in refrigerator for several days.
