Bean Casserole
Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) bag great northern beans, 1 lb. ground chuck or ground turkey, 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1 clove garlic, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Soak beans overnight or at least 2 hours.
Rinse and cook until fork-tender.
Drain.
Saute or brown ground beef, onions, peppers and garlic; salt and pepper.
Drain off any excess oil.
Add tomatoes and tomato sauce.
In a casserole dish, layer beans, meat mixture and cheese.
Continue to layer until casserole dish is full.
Spread topping of cheese on top and bake in 350° to 375° oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Let cool and serve warm or cold.
