Bavarian Crown Dessert
Bavarian Crown Dessert is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 2 small pkg. strawberry jell-o, 1 large pkg. frozen strawberries, 1 large angel food cake and 1/2 pt. whipped cream or 1 pkg. dream whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Add sugar to Jell-O prepared in usual way except leave out 1 cup of water.
Use 3 cups for 2 packages.
While Jell-O is still warm, add strawberries, cut fine.
Let stand until it begins to thicken.
Break angel food cake into bite-size pieces.
Place in a tube pan.
Pour part of Jell-O mixture and another layer until all mixture is used.
Let stand until congealed or overnight in refrigerator.
Remove from pan or mold and ice with whipped cream.
