Barley Casserole
Barley Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 1 c. barley, 1/2 c. slivered almonds, 1 pkg. dry onion soup and 2 c. chicken broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Heat margarine in saucepan.
Add barley, onion and mushrooms until golden.
Add almonds, dry soup and chicken broth.
Add water chestnuts and mushroom liquid.
Stir well and place into baking dish.
