"Bark" (Candy)
"Bark" (Candy) is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 pkg. saltine crackers, 1 c. brown sugar, packed, 2 sticks margarine and 6 oz. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Line flat
1-inch sides with aluminum foil, then spray with
Layer bottom of pan with saltine crackers, placing salty side down.
Place margarine and brown sugar in small saucepan over medium heat, stirring, until melted and well blended.
Pour over crackers and spread to coat.
Preheat oven to 400Β° and bake for 5 to 10 minutes until well heated. Take pan out and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Spread with wooden spoon while melting until evenly coated. Place in refrigerator and chill until hard.
Peel off aluminum foil and then break into pieces. Store in covered container.
