Barbecue Beef
Barbecue Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 lb. pot roast, 1 (14 oz.) bottle ketchup, 1 can beer, 1/2 c. brown sugar and 1/4 c. onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Place roast in roasting pan.
Mix ketchup, beer, sugar, onion and sesame seed.
Pour over roast.
Cover and bake at 350° for 3 hours.
Remove from oven and cool.
Remove all fat and any bones. Skim fat from sauce.
Shred beef; return to sauce.
Reduce oven to 300°.
Cook covered for 4 hours.
Serve on buns with onion and cheese, if desired.
