Baptist Roast
Baptist Roast is an easy dinner. Made with 4 to 5 lb. boneless chuck roast, 4 medium sized potatoes, 8 large carrots, 1/4 c. water and seasonings to suit taste (any good steak sauce or seasoned soy sauce), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Place roast in large ceramic oven dish that can be covered. Top with seasonings.
Wash potatoes, cut in half lengthwise and place around roast, cut side up.
Clean carrots, cut in half lengthwise and place around roast and potatoes.
Add water.
Cover and place in 250Β° oven for 3 to 4 hours.
