Preheat oven to 450Β°.
Peel bananas and quarter each banana by cutting first lengthwise and then in half.
Place in buttered baking dish.
Combine brown sugar with liquids and spices; heat. Pour over bananas.
Spread with coconut and dot with butter. Sprinkle with rum flavoring or rum.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until bananas are tender.
