Banana Tea Bread
Banana Tea Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 1/2 c. sifted flour, 4 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. salt and 2/3 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Beat shortening and sugar together until creamy.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add flour mixture alternately with bananas, a small amount at a time.
Beat until smooth.
Turn into 2 well-greased bread pans (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch) and bake in a 350Β° oven for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
