Banana Split Salad
Banana Split Salad is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 2 c. water, 1 pkg. lemon gelatin, 8 large marshmallows and 2 bananas, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Drain pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup of juice.
Bring water to a boil; add gelatin and marshmallows.
Stir until dissolved.
Cool until partially set.
Toss bananas and lemon juice; fold bananas and pineapple into gelatin.
Pour into 9-inch dish; chill until firm.
Combine sugar, flour and salt.
Stir in egg and pineapple juice.
Cook and stir until thickened.
Remove from heat.
Add butter; cool.
Fold in whipped cream and spread over gelatin. Sprinkle with nuts.
Chill overnight.
