Banana Split Dessert
Banana Split Dessert is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 8 minutes. Made with c. vanilla wafers, eggs, c. powdered sugar, small can crushed pineapple and (8 oz.) cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix together crushed wafers and 1/2 cup margarine and pat in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix 2 eggs, 1 cup margarine and 2 cups powdered sugar; beat until fluffy and spread over crust.
Slice bananas (coated with lemon juice) layer over filling.
Drain pineapple, layer over bananas.
Spread Cool Whip over pineapple, sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Put 1 cherry in center of each serving. Refrigerate.
