Banana Spice Cake

Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl.
Add shortening, buttermilk and bananas; mix until flour is dampened.
Beat at low speed for 2 minutes.
Add eggs and beat 1 minute.
Turn into greased and floured pans.
Bake at 350Β° in 2 pans (8 or 9-inch) or a 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool and ice with Quick Caramel Frosting.
