Banana Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box vanilla wafer cookies, 1/2 c. sugar, 4 to 5 tbsp. flour, 2 egg yolks, beaten and 4 bananas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix together the sugar, salt and flour.

Add beaten egg yolks and milk.

Stirring constantly, pour mixture into 2 cups scalded milk.

Stir until thickened.

Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Line 9 x 13-inch dish on bottom and sides with vanilla wafers (whole).

Slice bananas and layer on top of wafers. Spread hot pudding over all.

Crumble some wafers and sprinkle on top.
